A Korean Alternative Rock Band LETO,
Releases Two EPs Depicting Two Different Worlds Simultaneously

On September 3, 2026, LETO will simultaneously release two EPs featuring different musical directions and concepts.
The two EPs share a single story, exploring it from different perspectives through the themes of Reality and Illusion.

The two EPs are built around a Sekai-kei style narrative and the concept of Choice, presenting the reality and illusion of a ruined world from two different perspectives.
There is no predetermined order in which the two EPs should be listened to. Whether you choose to face reality or dream of an illusion becomes part of the work itself.
Both worlds contain happiness, love, and pain, and neither side is presented as the correct answer.
Rather than providing a predetermined answer, LETO invites listeners to make their own choice and experience the story according to that choice.

LETO is a four-piece alternative rock band.
The band creates its own music videos, merchandise, games, websites, and other content, expanding its world beyond music and into various forms of media.
Their 2023 debut single, "Rock&Roll in summer", has surpassed one million cumulative streams.
In 2025, the band released its first full-length album, combining its band sound with elements of Shibuya-kei, electronic music, jazz, and other genres.
LETO was later selected as one of Spotify's "Fresh finds korea" and featured as a solo emerging artist on an outdoor billboard at Gangnam Station.
The band was also nominated for Music Taste Y's 2025 Rookie of the Year.

The title track "Stardew Valley" combines the emotional character of Emo with the texture of hyperpop, creating a distinctly contemporary sound.
The noise-filled band sound, driven instrumentation, and Auto-Tuned vocals blur the boundary between reality and unreality,
portraying both the anxiety and hope of an individual living through a collapsing world.

The title track "tellYouHowItEnds()" combines a rock foundation with elements of electronica.
Soft pads and repetitive breakbeats form the core of the track, while a vocal melody that feels comforting yet somehow out of place creates an unfamiliar atmosphere.
Moments of warmth intersect with an unsettling feeling that is difficult to explain, revealing the darker side of an illusion created as an escape from reality.

One of LETO's defining characteristics is its approach of expanding stories that begin in music into various forms of media, including music videos, games, and websites.
The band handled the filming, editing, and programming themselves, creating three pieces of content that allow audiences to experience the ruined world depicted in their music from different perspectives.

1. Music Video

A roughly 10-minute short film-style music video depicting the chaos that follows the moment humanity faces despair, another tragedy that occurs in its aftermath, and the revenge born from it.

2. Visual Novel Game

A roguelike-style visual novel game centered around choice and repeated playthroughs.
Players take on the role of the protagonist and explore a collapsing city alongside a girl created using a speech synthesis engine, making choices necessary for survival under limited circumstances.
Scheduled for release on September 27.

3. Website

A website documenting the life of a girl living in a ruined world, updated in the form of a diary.
Designed as an ARG-style website, the story will continue to expand until the offline event described below.
Visitors can participate in the story through a guestbook where they can leave messages directly for the girl.

LETO performed two songs from the upcoming EPs live for the first time at the EBS Hello Rookie preliminary stage on August 27.
The two-song set served as the first public performance of the newly produced tracks ahead of their official release on September 3.
The band will simultaneously release both EPs on September 3,
followed by an offline event on September 27 that will conclude the ARG.
In December, LETO will hold a solo concert following the release, presenting a new live set centered around songs from both EPs.
